For Labtek, Aurora represents both a turning point and a new start for a brand new range of products with a high technology content.
In its interior, we applied a scale down of technologies that had been created for the hi-end range of products; that is why, in Aurora, you will find a lot of mechanical and electronic solutions – safe, reliable and tested – that until today were only available for our TOP articles. Moreover, we decided to rationally simplify the entire product: this way, we have been able to build a player of great substance with a price that is highly competitive. Aurora’s main strengths are its high technology content, the perfect and smooth sound it offers, its great aesthetic impact with the extremely simple, and yet refined, design.

Aurora's audio circuits come from the research we made for the PRO-TYPE … why change a circuit that sounds perfect? It's better to find a way to improve it for future applications, and at the same time try and make it available for the cheaper devices. DONE: Aurora owes its sonic peculiarities to this type of work.
However, all of this deserves an external appearance that - as a sort of ideal bridge connecting sound and content - could bring out all the great characteristics that are hidden inside. Think about its front panel, the “touch” technology and its elevated manufacturing cost, which until now was available only for first-rate and hi-end products. Thanks to Labtek and its research team, today this technology is available for Aurora too, and with the highest degree of reliability. So Aurora, as well as an extremely competitive price, can boast a great sound and this awesome aesthetic and functional solution.

Think about a perfectly smooth surface, under which a technology ready to answer to all your commands is hidden: without any effort, you just touch the surface lightly and the function starts. Everything becomes, under your very eyes, energy and elegance for your senses: listen to the difference… “TOUCH THE DIFFERENCE!”
A keyboard is there… but you can't see it.
This is another way of describing this solution which combines design, technology and functionality, creating a panel that we can control without any mechanical pressure, without moving parts, without effort, through a process that uses the natural conductivity of the human body with the highest safety for the person. In fact, if you think about it, the fingers just touch insulating materials (such as glass, crystal, plastic and so on), without any contact with metal parts.
Moreover, it is exempt from accidental contacts, is protected from external agents, doesn’t get dirty and – last but not least – has a duration that exceeds that of any traditional mechanical button.
Finally let’s not forget that, even though this player was especially conceived for music reproduction, it is also able to read even the most common video formats and has all the outputs required to drive the TV, the plasma display, the LCD display, the TV projector and so on. Everything in high resolution, thanks to the HDMI output and the progressive scan.
